# Login

Sign in to your Elvo Exchange account using email and password or a linked Web3 wallet.

### Sign In to Elvo Exchange

Go to:

[**Sign In to Elvo →**](https://elvo.exchange/login)

Elvo supports two primary sign-in methods:

* **Email and Password**
* **Linked Web3 Wallet**

Depending on your Login Security settings, additional verification may be required before access to your account is granted.

***

### Sign In with Email

To sign in with your email:

1. Open the [**Elvo Login Page →**](https://elvo.exchange/login)
2. Enter your registered email address.
3. Enter your password.
4. Select **Sign In**.
5. Complete any additional security verification required by your account.

After successful authentication, you will be redirected to the Elvo Markets page.

***

### Security Verification

If Login Security is enabled on your account, Elvo will ask you to complete the security methods you previously selected.

These may include:

#### Email OTP

Enter the **6-digit verification code** sent to your verified email address.

#### Google Authenticator

Enter the current **6-digit code** from your authenticator app.

#### Web3 Connect

Connect a wallet already linked to your Elvo account and approve the requested wallet signature.

Elvo processes the required security methods in sequence until all required verification steps are completed.

> **Important:** A wallet signature used for account verification does not transfer assets and does not authorize a trade.

***

### Sign In with a Web3 Wallet

If you have already linked a supported Web3 wallet to your Elvo account, you can start your sign-in directly with that wallet.

From the Login page:

1. Select **Sign in with wallet**.
2. Connect your linked wallet.
3. Make sure the wallet is connected to the network requested by Elvo.
4. Review and approve the authentication signature.
5. Complete any remaining Login Security methods.

If the wallet signature satisfies one of your configured security methods, Elvo will only request the remaining required methods.

For example, if your Login Security uses:

* Web3 Connect
* Email OTP

and you begin by signing in with your wallet, you may only need to complete the Email OTP step afterward.

***

### Using the Correct Wallet

When signing in with Web3 Connect, use a wallet that is already linked to your Elvo Exchange account.

Connecting an unrelated wallet will not provide access to your existing account.

You can manage linked wallets from:

[**Security Settings →**](https://elvo.exchange/account/security)

***

### Forgot Your Password?

If you cannot remember your password, select **Forgot password?** from the Login page.

You can also go directly to:

[**Reset Your Password →**](https://elvo.exchange/forgot-password)

Follow the instructions provided by Elvo to securely recover access to your account.

***

### Having Trouble Signing In?

If you cannot complete the login process:

* Confirm that your email address is correct
* Confirm that you are entering the correct password
* Use the latest Email OTP if email verification is required
* Make sure your authenticator device has the correct date and time
* Connect the wallet that is actually linked to your Elvo account
* Review the signature request before approving it
* Restart the sign-in process if a verification session expires

If the issue continues, use the official Elvo support channels listed in **Official Links & Team**.

***

### Keep Your Account Secure

Always access Elvo from:

[**https://elvo.exchange/**](https://elvo.exchange/)

Never provide another person with:

* Your Elvo password
* Email verification codes
* Google Authenticator codes
* Private keys
* Seed or recovery phrases

> Elvo Exchange team members will never ask you to share your password, private key, seed phrase, or authenticator code.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://elvo-exchange.gitbook.io/elvo-exchange-docs/account/login.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
