# Deposit Status

Understand each deposit status shown in Elvo Exchange and what it means for your account balance.

## Deposit Status

Understand each deposit status shown in Elvo Exchange and what it means for your account balance.

### Where to Check Your Deposit Status

You can review all deposit activity from:

[**Asset History →**](https://elvo.exchange/assets/history)

Each deposit record shows its current status and can be opened for additional transaction details.

***

### Detected

**Detected** means Elvo has identified the incoming blockchain transaction.

At this stage:

* The transaction has been seen by Elvo
* The deposit has not yet completed the required confirmation process
* The funds are not yet fully credited to your available balance

No manual action is normally required.

***

### Confirming

**Confirming** means the transaction is waiting for the required blockchain confirmations.

The deposit detail page may show progress such as:

**3 / 12 confirmations**

The number of confirmations will increase as new blocks are finalized on the supported network.

> Do not send the same deposit again while the original transaction is still confirming.

***

### Credited

**Credited** means the deposit has completed the required confirmation process and has been added to your Elvo Exchange account.

Once credited, you can review the updated balance from:

[**Assets →**](https://elvo.exchange/assets)

The funds can then become available for supported Elvo account activities.

***

### Failed

A deposit may appear as **Failed** when Elvo cannot complete the normal deposit credit process.

This may occur when the underlying blockchain transaction no longer satisfies the required deposit conditions.

If a deposit is marked Failed, review the transaction information and contact official Elvo support if further investigation is required.

***

### Confirmation Progress

For deposits that are still processing, Elvo may display:

* Current confirmations
* Required confirmations
* Transaction hash
* Block number
* Sending address
* Detection time
* Last status update

Open the deposit from:

[**Asset History →**](https://elvo.exchange/assets/history)

to view the available information.

***

### View the Blockchain Transaction

When a transaction hash is available, the deposit details page may provide a link to the Robinhood Chain explorer.

This allows you to independently review blockchain information associated with the deposit.

The blockchain explorer may show that a transaction succeeded before Elvo marks the deposit as Credited.

This is normal because Elvo may still be waiting for the required number of confirmations.

***

### Why a Deposit Can Be Visible but Not Available

A blockchain transaction can be successfully submitted without immediately becoming an available Elvo balance.

The normal flow is:

**Transaction Sent → Detected → Confirming → Credited**

Until the deposit reaches **Credited**, the funds may remain in pending funding activity.

***

### Deposit Not Showing in History

If you sent a transaction but it does not appear in Asset History, check:

* The destination address matches your Elvo deposit address
* The correct network was used
* The transferred asset is supported
* The transaction was successfully submitted by the sending wallet
* A transaction hash exists on the network

You can confirm your current deposit address from:

[**Deposit →**](https://elvo.exchange/funds/deposit)

***

### Deposit Stuck on Confirming

If the deposit already appears as **Confirming**, Elvo has detected it.

Allow the required blockchain confirmation process to complete.

Network confirmation time can vary, so a delay does not necessarily indicate a problem.

Avoid submitting duplicate transfers while the original deposit is still progressing.

***

### After a Deposit Is Credited

Once the status becomes **Credited**:

1. Open [**Assets →**](https://elvo.exchange/assets)
2. Find the deposited asset.
3. Check your updated Total and Available balances.
4. Use the asset for supported Elvo features when available.

The completed deposit remains available in your Asset History for future reference.

***

### If You Need Support

For a deposit issue, prepare:

* Asset symbol
* Deposit amount
* Transaction hash
* Sending address
* Approximate transaction time
* Current Elvo deposit status

Use only the official Elvo support channels listed in **Official Links & Team**.

> Elvo support will never ask for your private key, seed phrase, authenticator code, or account password.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://elvo-exchange.gitbook.io/elvo-exchange-docs/deposit-status.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
