## FAQ

Find quick answers to common questions about Elvo Exchange accounts, security, funding, trading, products, and the native $ELVO token.

### General

#### What is Elvo Exchange?

Elvo Exchange is a trading platform focused on tokenized stock markets with an ecosystem built around its native **$ELVO** token.

The platform currently provides live Spot trading alongside additional products being developed for the Elvo ecosystem.

Official website:

[**https://elvo.exchange/**](https://elvo.exchange/)

***

#### Is Elvo Exchange live?

Yes.

**Spot trading is currently executable** on supported Elvo markets.

Other products have different availability:

| Product       | Status                |
| ------------- | --------------------- |
| **Spot**      | Live                  |
| **Perpetual** | Preview / Coming Soon |

## Account & Login

#### How can I sign in?

Elvo supports:

* Email and password
* Linked wallet sign-in

If Login Security is enabled, you must also complete the verification methods selected for your account.

[**Sign In →**](https://elvo.exchange/login)

***

#### Can I sign in using a wallet?

Yes.

The wallet must already be linked and verified with your Elvo Exchange account.

Simply connecting a wallet in your browser does not automatically make it an authorized Elvo wallet.

***

#### What happens if my wallet is not linked?

A wallet that is not associated with an existing Elvo account cannot be used as that account's wallet-login credential.

If you want to use wallet login, link and verify the wallet from your account security settings first.

***

#### What if I forget my password?

Use:

[**Forgot Password →**](https://elvo.exchange/forgot-password)

Elvo will guide you through email verification and password reset.

After a successful reset, existing account sessions are revoked and you must sign in again.

***

## Security

#### What is Login Security?

Login Security adds multiple verification requirements to your sign-in process.

Available methods include:

* Email OTP
* Authenticator
* Web3 Connect

At least **two methods** must be selected.

[**Login Security →**](https://elvo.exchange/account/login-security)

***

#### Can I enable all three Login Security methods?

Yes.

You can configure:

**Email OTP + Authenticator + Web3 Connect**

When all three are enabled, all required factors must be successfully completed during protected sign-in.

***

#### Why does Elvo require multiple security methods?

Elvo uses a layered security approach so that compromising one authentication method does not automatically satisfy all account security requirements.

For example, if email access is compromised but your account also requires Authenticator and Web3 verification, the remaining factors still need to be completed.

***

#### What is Withdrawal Security?

Withdrawal Security determines which verification methods must be completed before assets can leave your Elvo account.

At least **two methods** are required.

Available methods include:

* Email OTP
* Authenticator
* Linked Wallet confirmation

***

#### If I enable three withdrawal methods, can I choose only one when withdrawing?

No.

Every method enabled in your Withdrawal Security policy becomes required for each new withdrawal verification.

If all three are enabled, all three must be completed.

***

#### Does Elvo ever need my seed phrase?

No.

Never provide your:

* Seed phrase
* Recovery phrase
* Private key
* Password
* Email OTP
* Authenticator code
* Authenticator setup key

to anyone claiming to represent Elvo.

***

#### Does a wallet signature transfer my assets?

A normal Elvo security-verification signature is used to verify wallet control and does not itself represent a normal asset transfer.

Always read the wallet request and confirm that you initiated the action through the official Elvo website before signing.

***

#### Can I see devices currently signed in to my account?

Yes.

Open:

[**Active Sessions →**](https://elvo.exchange/account/sessions)

You can review active sessions and terminate individual sessions or all sessions.

***

#### What happens when I change my password?

A successful password change revokes all active account sessions.

You must sign in again using your new password.

***

#### What happens when I change my email?

The new email must be verified.

After the email change is completed, existing account sessions are revoked and you must sign in again.

***

## Deposits

#### What network should I use for deposits?

Current Elvo funding uses:

**Robinhood Chain Testnet — Chain ID 46630**

Always verify the network displayed by Elvo before sending assets.

***

#### Where can I find my deposit address?

Open:

[**Deposit →**](https://elvo.exchange/funds/deposit)

Use the deposit address assigned to your Elvo account.

***

#### Do I need to submit my transaction hash after depositing?

No.

Supported deposits are automatically detected.

You do not need to manually submit a transaction hash to credit a normal supported deposit.

***

#### Why is my deposit showing Detected?

**Detected** means Elvo has identified the incoming transaction but the deposit has not yet completed its required confirmation process.

***

#### What does Confirming mean?

**Confirming** means the deposit is still completing the required blockchain confirmation process.

The asset becomes available after the deposit successfully reaches the credited state.

***

#### Where can I check my deposit status?

Open:

[**Asset History →**](https://elvo.exchange/assets/history)

***

## Withdrawals

#### Where can I withdraw assets?

Open:

[**Withdraw →**](https://elvo.exchange/funds/withdraw)

***

#### Why can't I withdraw yet?

Common reasons include:

* Withdrawal Security is not configured
* Fewer than two security methods are enabled
* Available balance is insufficient
* The withdrawal amount is below the minimum
* The amount exceeds the current limit
* A new recipient is still under security cooldown
* A required verification step has not been completed

The Withdrawal page displays the applicable requirements.

***

#### Why is the amount I receive lower than the amount I enter?

The applicable withdrawal fee is deducted from the requested withdrawal amount.

Review the **You Will Receive** value before submitting.

***

#### Can a newly added withdrawal address be used immediately?

Not always.

A newly saved destination may be subject to a security cooldown before it becomes available for withdrawal.

***

#### Where can I check withdrawal status?

Open:

[**Asset History →**](https://elvo.exchange/assets/history)

***

## Spot Trading

#### Is Spot trading currently active?

Yes.

Elvo Spot supports real order execution on supported markets.

[**Open Markets →**](https://elvo.exchange/markets)

***

#### Where are Spot orders executed?

Spot orders execute against the **internal Elvo Spot order book**.

Customer orders are matched within the Elvo trading system.

***

#### Do I need to sign a wallet transaction every time I trade?

No.

Normal Spot Buy and Sell orders use your Elvo account balances and do not require a blockchain wallet confirmation for every trade.

***

#### Does every Spot trade have a blockchain transaction hash?

No.

Spot trades are internal Elvo executions.

The relevant records are your:

* Order ID
* Order status
* Fill records
* Trading history

Blockchain transaction hashes apply to blockchain funding activity such as deposits and withdrawals, not normal Spot execution.

***

#### What order types are available on Spot?

Elvo Spot currently supports:

* Market
* Limit
* Take Profit
* Stop Loss
* OCO conditional protection

***

#### What is a Market order?

A Market order attempts to execute immediately against available Elvo liquidity.

It can execute across multiple price levels and may be partially filled if sufficient eligible liquidity is not available.

***

#### What is a Limit order?

A Limit order lets you define the price at which you are willing to buy or sell.

If it does not immediately execute, it can remain on the order book until filled, canceled, or otherwise completed.

***

#### Can an order be partially filled?

Yes.

A larger order may execute through multiple fills and different price levels.

The Orders page shows the amount filled compared with the original order quantity.

***

#### Where can I see my orders?

Open:

[**Orders →**](https://elvo.exchange/orders)

You can review:

* Open Orders
* Order History
* Fills
* TP / SL activity

***

#### What are the current Spot trading fees?

Current fees are:

| Role      | Fee       |
| --------- | --------- |
| **Maker** | **0.05%** |
| **Taker** | **0.10%** |

The actual fee depends on the liquidity role of each completed fill.

***

#### Is every Limit order a maker order?

No.

A Limit order that immediately consumes existing liquidity can execute as a taker.

Maker or taker status depends on the actual execution.

***

## Perpetual

#### Is Perpetual trading live?

Not yet.

Elvo Perpetual currently provides a **live market-data and trading-interface preview**.

Real order execution remains Coming Soon.

***

#### Can I open a Long or Short position?

Not currently.

The Long and Short controls are part of the Perpetual preview interface and do not create live positions.

***

#### Does changing leverage create exposure?

No.

The leverage selector currently previews the planned Perpetual product configuration.

Changing it does not reserve funds or create a position.

***

#### Are Perpetual funding payments currently settled?

No.

Funding information can be displayed for market reference, but Elvo Perpetual funding settlement is not currently active.

***

#### Are Perpetual positions or liquidations active?

No.

Final reward mechanics and staking terms will be published before launch.

***

#### What is the total supply of $ELVO?

The total supply is:

**1,000,000,000 ELVO**

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://elvo-exchange.gitbook.io/elvo-exchange-docs/faq.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
