# How to Deposit

Follow these steps to deposit supported assets into your Elvo Exchange account safely.

## How to Deposit

Follow these steps to deposit supported assets into your Elvo Exchange account safely.

### Step 1 — Open the Deposit Page

Sign in to your Elvo Exchange account and go to:

[**Deposit Assets →**](https://elvo.exchange/funds/deposit)

Your account's dedicated deposit address will be displayed on this page.

***

### Step 2 — Check the Network

Before sending any assets, confirm the funding network displayed by Elvo.

The currently supported funding network is:

**Robinhood Chain Testnet**

The network selected in your sending wallet must match the network shown on Elvo.

> Do not send assets through a different blockchain network.

***

### Step 3 — Copy Your Deposit Address

Find **Deposit Address** and select **Copy address**.

Your Elvo deposit address is dedicated to your account.

Always copy the address directly from the official Elvo Deposit page:

[**elvo.exchange/funds/deposit →**](https://elvo.exchange/funds/deposit)

Do not use an address received through:

* Telegram direct messages
* Social media messages
* Screenshots
* Unofficial websites
* Someone claiming to be Elvo support

***

### Step 4 — Open Your Sending Wallet

Open the wallet or platform where your assets are currently stored.

Choose the asset you want to send and begin the transfer process.

Before continuing, make sure:

* The asset is supported by Elvo
* The network is correct
* You have enough balance to complete the transaction

***

### Step 5 — Paste Your Elvo Address

Paste the deposit address you copied from Elvo into the destination field of your sending wallet.

Compare the address carefully with the one displayed on Elvo.

For additional safety, verify the beginning and ending characters of the address before submitting the transaction.

***

### Step 6 — Enter the Amount

Enter the amount you want to deposit.

Review the transaction information provided by your wallet before continuing.

Check again:

**Asset → Network → Address → Amount**

All information should be correct before you approve the transaction.

***

### Step 7 — Submit the Transaction

Confirm the transfer from your sending wallet.

After the transaction has been submitted to the network, no additional action is normally required on Elvo.

Supported deposits are detected automatically.

> You do not need to send your transaction hash to Elvo support to receive a normal deposit credit.

***

### Step 8 — Wait for Network Confirmation

After Elvo detects the transaction, it must receive the required blockchain confirmations before the deposit can be credited.

Your deposit may move through statuses such as:

**Detected**\
The incoming transaction has been identified.

**Confirming**\
The transaction is waiting for the required network confirmations.

**Credited**\
The confirmation process is complete and the asset has been added to your Elvo account.

***

### Step 9 — Check Your Deposit Status

You can monitor your deposit from:

[**Asset History →**](https://elvo.exchange/assets/history)

Select a deposit record to view additional information such as:

* Asset and amount
* Deposit ID
* Sending address
* Transaction hash
* Confirmation progress
* Block information
* Current status

***

### Step 10 — Confirm Your Balance

Once the deposit status becomes **Credited**, open:

[**Assets →**](https://elvo.exchange/assets)

Your updated balance should appear in your Elvo account.

You can then use the available balance for supported Elvo features, including Spot trading or withdrawals.

***

### Before You Send

Always verify:

| Check       | What to Confirm                                   |
| ----------- | ------------------------------------------------- |
| **Asset** | The asset is supported by Elvo Exchange |
| **Network** | Robinhood Chain Testnet is selected |
| **Address** | The destination matches your Elvo deposit address |
| **Amount** | The amount is correct before submission |

> Sending an unsupported asset or using the wrong network may result in funds not being credited and may make recovery impossible.

***

### If Your Deposit Is Still Confirming

Do not send another transaction simply because the first deposit has not been credited yet.

First check:

[**Asset History →**](https://elvo.exchange/assets/history)

If the transaction is already **Detected** or **Confirming**, allow the network confirmation process to complete.

If a confirmed transaction is not reflected in your Elvo account after a reasonable period, contact an official Elvo team member and provide the transaction hash for investigation.

Never provide your password, authenticator code, private key, or seed phrase.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://elvo-exchange.gitbook.io/elvo-exchange-docs/how-to-deposit.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
