# How to Withdraw

Follow these steps to withdraw supported assets from your Elvo Exchange account securely.

## How to Withdraw

Follow these steps to withdraw supported assets from your Elvo Exchange account securely.

### Step 1 — Open the Withdrawal Page

Sign in to your Elvo Exchange account and go to:

[**Withdraw Assets →**](https://elvo.exchange/funds/withdraw)

Before continuing, make sure your account has Withdrawal Security configured.

[**Manage Withdrawal Security →**](https://elvo.exchange/account/security/withdrawal-security)

***

### Step 2 — Check the Network

Elvo currently processes withdrawals through:

**Robinhood Chain Testnet**

The receiving wallet must support the same network.

Before sending, confirm that the destination wallet is compatible with Robinhood Chain Testnet.

> Do not send to an address on a different network.

***

### Step 3 — Enter or Select a Recipient

Enter the wallet address that should receive the withdrawal.

You can either:

* Paste a new recipient address
* Select an existing address from your Address Book

If you add a new recipient, Elvo saves the address to your account.

A newly added recipient may enter a temporary **security cooldown** before withdrawals to that address are allowed.

Wait until the recipient status shows that it is ready.

***

### Step 4 — Verify the Recipient Address

Before continuing, compare the destination address carefully.

Check:

* The full address
* The beginning characters
* The ending characters
* The destination wallet network

Do not rely only on a shortened wallet address.

> Blockchain transfers are generally irreversible once processed.

***

### Step 5 — Select the Asset

Choose the asset you want to withdraw.

Elvo will show the balance currently available for withdrawal.

The withdrawal page may also display the active policy for the selected asset, including:

* Minimum withdrawal
* Withdrawal fee
* Maximum per request
* 24-hour withdrawal limit
* Remaining 24-hour allowance

***

### Step 6 — Enter the Amount

Enter the amount you want to withdraw.

The amount must:

* Be greater than zero
* Meet the minimum withdrawal requirement
* Be within your Available Balance
* Be within the maximum per-request limit
* Be within your remaining 24-hour limit
* Be greater than the applicable withdrawal fee

You can select **MAX** to use the maximum amount currently permitted by your available balance and withdrawal limits.

***

### Step 7 — Review the Amount You Will Receive

The withdrawal fee is deducted from the requested amount.

Elvo displays the estimated amount the recipient will receive.

The calculation is:

**Withdrawal Amount − Withdrawal Fee = Amount Received**

Review this value before continuing.

***

### Step 8 — Select Withdraw

After confirming the recipient, asset, and amount, select the withdrawal button.

Elvo will prepare a security confirmation for the withdrawal.

At this stage, the withdrawal has **not yet been finally submitted**.

You must first complete the required security verification.

***

### Step 9 — Complete Withdrawal Security

Elvo requires every verification method configured in your Withdrawal Security policy.

Depending on your setup, this may include:

#### Email OTP

Request the verification code and enter the current 6-digit code sent to your verified email address.

#### Authenticator

Enter the current 6-digit code from your authenticator app.

#### Web3 Verification

Connect the linked wallet required for the withdrawal and approve the requested signature.

The withdrawal can continue only after all required security methods have been successfully verified.

***

### Step 10 — Review the Final Withdrawal

Before the final send, check the withdrawal information again.

Confirm:

**Network**\
Robinhood Chain Testnet

**Recipient**\
The correct destination wallet

**Asset**\
The asset you intended to withdraw

**Amount**\
The correct requested amount

**Fee**\
The applicable withdrawal fee

**Amount Received**\
The final amount expected to be sent

Only continue if every detail is correct.

***

### Step 11 — Submit the Withdrawal

Once all required security methods are verified, complete the final withdrawal submission.

Elvo will accept the withdrawal for processing.

Do not repeatedly submit the same withdrawal if the first request is already being processed.

***

### Step 12 — Check Withdrawal Status

You can monitor the withdrawal from:

[**Asset History →**](https://elvo.exchange/assets/history)

Your withdrawal record may show information such as:

* Withdrawal ID
* Asset
* Amount
* Status
* Destination address
* Withdrawal fee
* Amount sent
* Transaction hash
* Submission time
* Completion time

***

### Using the Address Book

Previously saved recipients can be selected from the Address Book on the Withdrawal page.

This can reduce the need to repeatedly enter the same address.

However, always verify the selected address before every withdrawal.

A saved address should not be treated as automatically safe if you did not intentionally select it.

***

### If a New Recipient Is Cooling Down

A newly registered withdrawal address may not be immediately available.

If its status shows **Cooling down**, wait until the security cooldown is complete.

You cannot use that address for a withdrawal until it becomes eligible.

Do not repeatedly add the same address to try to bypass the cooldown.

***

### If the Withdraw Button Is Unavailable

Check whether:

* The recipient is active and ready
* The selected asset supports withdrawals
* The amount meets the minimum requirement
* The amount is within your Available Balance
* The amount is within withdrawal limits
* Your Withdrawal Security has at least two configured methods

You can review your security configuration here:

[**Withdrawal Security →**](https://elvo.exchange/account/security/withdrawal-security)

***

### Before You Confirm

Use this final checklist:

| Check                 | Confirm                   |
| --------------------- | ------------------------- |
| **Network**           | Robinhood Chain Testnet   |
| **Recipient**         | Correct wallet address    |
| **Asset**             | Correct token             |
| **Amount**            | Correct withdrawal amount |
| **Fee**               | Reviewed                  |
| **Amount Received**   | Reviewed                  |
| **Security Requests** | Initiated by you |
| **Website**           | `elvo.exchange`           |

> Never approve an unexpected withdrawal OTP, authenticator request, or wallet signature. If you did not initiate the withdrawal yourself, stop immediately and review your account security.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://elvo-exchange.gitbook.io/elvo-exchange-docs/how-to-withdraw.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
